Sighting from the Gym at Mombo Camp

Guests at Mombo Camp were treated to an incredible sighting right in from of the gym. A small herd of Red Lechwe came to drink at a pan in front of the gym when a Crocodile caught one of the Lechwe. A Pride of Lion then came out of the nearby bushes and stole the kill. Among these lions was the famous 'maned lioness' of Mombo. The pride settled down to eat when one lioness pulled a foetus from the carcass and went off the enjoy it in the nearby shade.
